Hi everyone, I’m Lorna Kerin, the Regional Patient and Service User Lead for Dublin and the South East. Our region’s health services support a community of nearly one million people across Dublin, Wicklow, Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny, and South Tipperary.
I truly believe that the best healthcare is co-designed by the people who use it. Your lived experience is the most powerful tool we have to create the right care, in the right place and at the right time.
I have immense respect for our dedicated healthcare teams who manage the complexities of care every single day and am continually inspired by their commitment to patient centred care.
Using my background in psychotherapy, participatory research, and project management, I’m here to ensure that every voice is heard in our shared effort to co-create an excellent health care system. We aren’t just looking for feedback; we are looking for active partners in change!
Together, we can build a health service rooted in care, compassion, trust, learning and genuine partnership. Your perspective is vital to that process.
