We are pleased to welcome you to the 4th HSE Public and Patient Partnership Conference.

The conference will explore what partnership looks like in real life, sharing learning from people with lived and living experience, as well as from professionals who work together across health and social care.

The event will bring together patients and service users, healthcare professionals, advocates, community organisations, researchers and leaders to share examples of partnership in action.

Together, we will look at what works, what we can learn from each other when we come together, and how we can make partnership a bigger part of how health and social care is planned and delivered.

In-person registration is now closed. The conference will be live streamed, allowing people who are unable to attend in person to participate virtually. Live stream begins: 9.30am on Thursday, 15 October 2026.

Patient and Public Partner Information

Patient and service user partners are at the heart of the conference programme. They will take part as speakers, presenters, panellists, workshop facilitators and poster presenters.

The conference will include discussions and case studies that share patient experiences and explore how partnership is developing across health and social care. Some of the experiences and issues shared during the conference may be difficult or emotional for people to hear, particularly those with personal experience of health and social care. We will aim to create a supportive and respectful space, and attendees are welcome to take a break or step out of sessions whenever needed.
